Wagga Wagga Showground is located in Central Wagga Wagga close to Shopping Centre and Wagga Base Hospital.

Campground offers caravan, camper trailer and tent sites with power and water supplied. There are toilets, showers and a dump site (small fee).

There are no marked sites but plenty of room. Simply pick a site you like, and plug into power.

The entrance is Gate 5, off Urana St. If you come up Bourke St (heading south), you will see the showground on your right. You need to take third exit from roundabout onto Urana Street. Follow this part the first gate on your right (Gate 4) and the second gate is Gate 5. There is a keypad to enter your code. If you are coming East along Urana it is the first gate on your left.

Emergency:

In case of an emergency the designated evacuation points are at the entry gates of the grounds.

Roadways:

  • There is a 10km per hour speed limit within the grounds which must be adhered to.
  • When driving please use the roads provided.
  • This is a shared area for cars, bikes and pedestrians so please take care.

Campsite Behaviour:

  • It is advisable to check in before 8pm. Please advise if this is not possible.
  • Check out is 11am. After this time, your assigned pin code will cease to function.
  • To ensure the automatic gates remain unobstructed, please avoid queuing when entering or exiting and pull your vehicle through sufficiently to ensure that the gate is clear from whatever you are towing behind you.
  • Please note that pin codes are not to be shared. If a code is shared with another party, it will be cancelled immediately and could result in immediate eviction.
  • Please be respectful of other campers by keeping noise to reasonable levels, especially after 10pm.
  • Any form of verbal abuse of any personnel or any other campers will result in immediate eviction from the Showgrounds.
  • We have a strict policy against the use of illicit and illegal substances. If it is discovered that anyone is using these substances on our premises, they will be asked to leave immediately and/or the police will be contacted.
  • Please keep in mind how your lights may impact neighbouring campers.
  • Other campers prefer not to be disturbed by noise from children before 7am or have them play loudly late at night at the campsite. It is crucial to ensure that your children are mindful of their surroundings, discuss the importance of being respectful campers (such as refraining from activities like throwing balls into neighbouring campsites), and assist them in adhering to the regulations regarding noise levels
  • Please show respect for the facilities by refraining from washing your dishes in the amenities.
  • Please note that smoking is not permitted in the amenities.
  • Generators are not permitted at this campsite.
  • Maintain a respectful distance from other campers and try to set up your campsite away from neighbouring campers whenever possible.
  • Maintain a safe distance from the horses and refrain from interacting with them unless specifically invited by a trainer.
  • Please note that there are to be no open fires.
  • Pets must always be under control and on a lead.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult when using amenities.
  • No campers are to approach the Wagga & District Greyhound Club when the dogs are racing. During a Greyhound meeting anywhere past the start of racetrack is a no entry area unless you enter via the greyhound’s entry gate.
  • Campers are restricted from entering other sections of the Showground during events unless they use the designated event entrance and purchase the required ticket.
  • Important: The name on the reservation must be the individual who is staying. We do not accept reservations made on behalf of someone else. If this occurs, then the other party will be asked to leave immediately with no refunds applicable.
  • Length of stay: The maximum booking length is 7 nights. If you need to stay longer, please contact the office at 02 6925 2180.

Cancellation guidelines:

  • Reservations can be amended, adjusted, or cancelled up to three working days prior to your scheduled arrival.
  • Should you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify the Showground Office within three working days prior to your scheduled arrival. Payments will only be refunded if the Showgrounds are notified within three working days prior to your scheduled arrival.
  • If you wish to reduce your nights booked after the commencement of your stay with us, we regret that we are unable to refund any monies paid
  • If you do not arrive on your reservation date your booking will be cancelled without refund or credit.

Rubbish Bins:

Bins are conveniently placed throughout the grounds. Kindly dispose of rubbish in the designated bins and ensure to remove all waste from your site before departing.
